I just found out the hard way that I can't put soup in this thermous as it has 2 holes for vent or something and liquid leaks right thru. I use the thermous for rice and noodles but have to use a regular "thermos" brand thermos for soup. It does fit in the bag just fine.this is also very very tiny, good for my 7 years old, she won't eat much more than that anyway but certainly won't be enough for middle school kid.
